Once Pilot Buddies, Always Pilot Buddies

Got to reconnect with my pilot buddy Clay today while he was on layover in Calgary. After having not seen each other in almost two years, Clay (literally) few in Saturday evening in his SkyWest (United) ERJ 175. I was able to follow his flight on FlightAware and LiveATC and tried to get a photo, which turned out to be just a bright dot in a dark sky.

On Sunday morning, we started our day with a Canadian Tim Horton’s breakfast and then toured the Hangar Flight Museum, Calgary.

We then headed over to the North Cariboo Hangars and checked out our fleet and chilled in a King Air remembering good times flight training back in Arizona.

Just a couple of pilot buddies on a layover adventure geeking out.
