Solo Cross Country #3

Wrapped up solo flights today and treated myself to a tour of golf courses. Starting with a flyover of the Dove Mountain Championship course, just north of Tucson, and finishing with a pass by Southern Dunes in Maricopa.

Unfortunately landings weren’t as good today and I had a few challenges in the airport traffic patterns at both Marana and Gila Bend, but after debriefing with my instructor, I was reassured that I did handle the situations appropriate and with a good measure of safely.

The good news is that I was very confident with the flight itself, just need to work more on the landings before my check-ride scheduled for later next week.
