Ground School Has Begun

Despite not officially starting training for another few months, I have had access to ATP’s online learning portal for a little over a week and I have been able to progress quickly through the first three chapters scoring 100, 93, and 96% on the exams. Thankfully, I am finding the learning is going very smoothly, and has been a pleasant trip down memory lane back to scientific concepts my university years in the sciences.

Because the ground school program is self-paced, I have committed to making a preliminary scan through all the materials before June in hopes of reducing the workload while in the program and eventually gaining deeper understanding with multiple passes.

To further my learning a new shipment of books and training materials arrived today. Looks like I’ll have plenty of light reading to get me by until flight training begins.
