TSA Background Check Cleared!
One additional hurdle for me, as a non-US citizen, is a full Transportation Security Agency (TSA) background check and fingerprinting. In the aftermath of 9/11 must stricter flight school requirements were put in place for “aliens” trying to do training in the US.
So after a few hundred more dollars in fees and TON of paperwork sounds like I am not a terrorist and fully cleared to fly in the USA which should really help with employment options at the end of this adventure.
